THE KOOKABURRA AND COVERING THAT CANVAS!

Sharing with you all, the latest large commission I've not long completed. Being 2.4 meters wide, it's the longest canvas painting that I have produced. The client was familiar with my other recent cityscapes and suggested to paint the outlook from his favourite restaurant, Georges Paragon Seafood Restaurant at Pier Nine, Eagle Street. So with my tripod and camera, reference photos were taken from the restaurant's verandah during the changing light of twilight. From these images, the painting was produced and the client was extremely happy with the finished result and now hangs in his dining room.
Apart from a photo of the finished painting, I have also included some progress photos of it being produced. If you like this post, please feel free to share it. Thanks.
